You probably already know that Apache Thrift is a framework for developing distributed services and clients to access these in multiple languages. You probably also knew that Thrift is extremely popular among the sorts of cool projects that those of us in the Fedora Big Data SIG find interesting. What you might not have known before you saw the title of this post is that Thrift is currently available in Fedora 19 and later versions for your testing, development, and general yum install-based happiness!
